Summary of company history and why it was started
High level goals and problems the company solves for people
Main value propositions of the company
Quick summary of the company's defining qualities/philosophy

Products

Quick descriptions of each product or package sold
What is each one for? What does each one solve?
Why was each product created? What value do they provide?
Who are each of these products for? General audience?

Pricing

What is the pricing philosophy for the company's products?
How does pricing work and how is it justified?
What is the payment experience like for customers?
How should the sales team talk about pricing?

Process

What are the main steps of your sales process?
On what timeline/cadence do you contact customers?
How do you reach customers? Email? Phone? In-person?
What is the normal timing for moving customers from prospects to closed deals?
What should be documented by the sales team along the way? Where should they keep notes and report on their progress?
Guidelines for how to speak to customers? Etiquette recommendations?

Personas

Who are your main types or categories of customers? How do you define them?
Where can these customers be found?
What qualifies them for your product?
Who is the buyer? Who is the user? Are they the same? If not, which one is more important to appeal to?
How do these people make decisions?
What are the most compelling arguments for each persona?

Messaging

Talking points that have proven effective for selling
Email templates and call scripts that have succeeded in the past

CRM Guide

Instructions for navigating and contributing to the Sales CRM
Are there any quirks? Best practices? Good hygiene?

Compensation

How does sales compensation work at your company?
Clearly outline incentives and how they work. What awards or milestones do you have?

KPIs

Clearly articulate the metrics that guide activity and indicate success. Some examples:
Monthly sales growth
Average profit margin
Monthly sales bookings
Average purchase value
