Canvas link formatting options
Formatted Links
You have three options for how to format raw links: URL, hyperlinked text, and card view:1. The URL
Simply start typing, and if you include a standard domain (e.g. .com, .gov), Coda will understand it's a hyperlink and automatically link the text. You can also paste a link directly.

2. Hyperlinked text
A hyperlinked text is a clickable phrase that, when clicked, redirects the user to a different webpage.

3. Card
Clickable URL cards can help create visually pleasing tiled layouts and provide additional context to links by displaying metadata such as descriptions.

Buttons
Instead of links, consider using a button that redirects the user to a URL.4. Coda button
Using a button to open a link in Coda can provide a more intuitive and user-friendly experience for interacting with your Coda document. You can customize the label, allowing you to create a clear call to actions, improve accessibility and create a docs with cohesive visual designs. Learn more about buttons here.

5. Custom clickable image
If you would like to create totally custom button visuals or have clickable images redirect to a new location, this feature is for you. You can create button designs in Figma or Photoshop, save them as images, and then use them as buttons using this technique. Learn how to create one in this guide.
